Samsung SmartThings hỗ trợ chuẩn Matter cho Hệ sinh thái của mình!

Trong sự kiện SDC 2021 mới đây, Samsung tuyên bố rằng SmartThings sẽ chính thức hỗ trợ giao thức mới – Matter.

SmartThings là một trong những nền tảng IoT do chính Samsung phát triển. Và trong sự kiện SDC 2021 mới đây, Samsung tuyên bố rằng SmartThings sẽ chính thức hỗ trợ giao thức, tiêu chuẩn mới – Matter cho hệ sinh thái của mình bao gồm Thiết bị Galaxy đến sản phẩm tiêu dùng thông minh… Matter đảm bảo khả năng tương thích và hoạt động tốt giữa các thiết bị hỗ trợ cùng giao thức tiêu chuẩn, nhằm mục đích cung cấp cho khách hàng sự linh hoạt mua & kết nối các sản phẩm IoT khác nhau.

Được giới thiệu vào đầu năm nau, Matter là một tiêu chuẩn kết nối được tạo ra bởi hơn 180 công ty và nó đang – sẽ giúp thúc đẩy sự phát triển ngành công nghiệp nhà thông minh. Samsung đã công bố tại SDC 21 rằng giao thức Matter hiện đang được thêm vào nền tảng SmartThings, nền tảng này đã có thể sử dụng các giao thức Zigbee và Z-Wave. Với việc bổ sung Matter, Samsung muốn SmartThings trở thành nền tảng one-stop cho khách hàng sử dụng thiết bị IoT.

Ngoài ra, Matter còn mở ra một chương đổi mới hoàn toàn cho các nhà phát triển trên toàn cầu, cho phép họ có nhiều thời gian hơn để tập trung vào sáng tạo đồng thời giảm thời gian dành cho việc tái tạo các tính năng trên các hệ sinh thái khác nhau.

Các thiết bị IoT trong Hệ sinh thái Matter bao gồm Google, eve Systems, Honeywell Home by Resideo, Linksys, Nanoleaf, Philips Hue, Schlage, Wemo, Yale, v.v.

Samsung sẽ đưa Matter lên nhiều sản phẩm vào năm 2022 khi tiêu chuẩn mới có sẵn và tích hợp hoàn toàn vào nền tảng SmartThings.
