Google đang tiếp tục thúc đẩy sự phát triển của những máy tính bảng Android. Và mới đây, những bản cập nhật phần mềm mới nhất cho thấy rằng Google bắt đầu tối ưu hoá Widgets mới cho thiết bị máy tính bảng Android màn hình lớn. Các ứng dụng được tối ưu hoá này bắt đầu với các ứng dụng do chính Google phát triển như Google Drive và Keep.

Trong khi đó, tiện ích con của Google Keep chuyển từ thanh bên phải sang thanh dưới cùng. Các phím tắt để tạo danh sách kiểm tra, ghi nhớ thoại, bản vẽ và ghi chú hình ảnh xuất hiện ở dưới cùng, trong khi FAB (nút tác vụ nổi) được sử dụng cho văn bản. Bên trên danh sách ghi chú có thể cuộn được và thiết kế này rất giống với widget của Gmail.

Google sẽ tiếp tục “tối ưu hóa các ứng dụng Google yêu thích của bạn trên máy tính bảng để giúp đa tác vụ trở nên dễ dàng”. Các ứng dụng sẽ dần được mở rộng cập nhật từ hôm nay trên từng thiết bị & tài khoản Google bởi các ứng dụng Google Drive, Keep, Tài liệu, Trang tính và Trang trình bày …
