Samsung đang xem xét mua lại các bằng sáng chế của LG?

Một nguồn tin mới cho biết Samsung Electronics đang xem xét mua lại danh mục các bằng sáng chế của LG Electronics.

LG Electronics đã chính thức rút lui khỏi thị trường sản xuất di động vào đầu tháng 04/2021 này. Tuy vậy, LG vẫn sở hữu rất nhiều bằng sáng chế có giá trị cho cả công nghệ LTE và 5G. Theo một thống kê trước đó vào 2020, LG là công ty sở hữu bằng sáng chế lớn thứ 3 Thế giới về 5G chỉ sau Nokia & Samsung. Và nguồn tin mới nhất từ Hàn Quốc cho biết rằng Samsung Electronics đang xem xét mua lại danh mục các bằng sáng chế của LG Electronics.

Theo các nguồn tin, danh mục bằng sáng chế của LG bao gồm cả công nghệ LTE và 5G có giá trị từ 1 đến 1,5 nghìn tỷ won (900 USD – 1,3 triệu USD). Và hiện tại Samsung cũng như nhiều Tổ chức phi hành nghề khác nhau (gọi là NPE) đang xem xét thoả thuận mua hoặc thoả thuận cấp phép các bằng sáng chế về mạng 5G do chính LG đang sở hữu.

Tuy nhiên, Samsung vẫn chưa chính thức xác nhận điều này, vì vậy chúng ta sẽ phải chờ xem liệu công ty có thực sự quan tâm đến các công nghệ đã được cấp bằng sáng chế 5G của LG hay không.
